OUR BATTLE AGAINST AI

Let’s be real, AI seems not going to be going away anytime soon, and it might be here to stay, or some say,
“It’s the future”. However, should our future consist of artists losing their jobs because of it? Or how about seeing art
but made by AI. Isn’t that terrifying to think of? Tell me about it.
As convenient as it is, as an artist for more than a decade now, I choose not to use it in my artworks. I firmly believe that art should be made with real people, created with care, and have a story that can connect with people’s hearts. And that is something that an AI art could do.
AI is improving its output day by day, and for some, it’s getting hard to spot if it’s AI or not. Even so, the red tagging of some people as designers has been rampant nowadays, accusing the artists that their art is made of AI without any evidence that can support their comment, which only leads to hatred and an unnecessary mess, which could be prevented if approached differently. How about messaging them privately and asking them directly if their art is made of AI? As a designer, I believe it is my responsibility to lift my clients' worries and put their mind at ease by providing factual information about my work and answering queries about it if there are any. I am open to answering all of them while conversing peacefully in a way that none of us will be compromised.
To end this, I am beyond grateful to see authors and designers campaigning for their stance on AI. I hope many people can join in and celebrate human-made art, and that no artist's job in the future will be stripped away just because of it.
